well, it's been a long time since I had a chance to sit down and update the blog. In any case, there has been quite a lot happening here at the north pole as well as around the world as everyone gets ready for Christmas.

My elf reporters in Northern Virgina report that there was quite a snow storm this week and people are just now digging out from it. Apparently in Ashburn where Peppermint and some of her friends are for another week or so, 22 inches of snow fell. They report that the humans were "freaking out" because Christmas is only a few days away. Peppermint even sent pictures.

Here at the Pole, the elves are winding up for the last big push of getting the toys done, wrapped and on Santa's sleigh. The reindeer are practicing long distance jumping and landings but are ready to go. Mrs. Claus has been keeping the hot chocolate and sugar cookies coming for everyone and last but not least, Santa has checked his list twice and has started packing the sleigh.

Well, must run, jangle is hollering about something the baby reindeer is doing.

Love, Jingle
